It is often very difficult for patients to really understand exactly what happens in their brain, and with a cavernoma, when they have a bleed. What causes a bleed? Is a bleed the same as a stroke? What even is a haemorrhagic stroke?
To answer these questions, we’re thrilled to be welcoming renowned consultant neurosurgeon, and friend of CAUK, Daniel Walsh FRCS for our next live webinar at 11am on Saturday 8th October. Join us to find out everything you need to know about cavernoma bleeding, haemorrhage and strokes, and have the chance to ask any questions you might have.
Our guest, Mr Daniel Walsh FRCS, is a consultant neurosurgeon at Kings College Hospital in London. He specialises in complex surgeries on the brain, spinal cord and peripheral nerves, and has an international reputation as an expert in diseases of the blood vessels affecting the brain or spinal cord – including cavernoma.
We want this webinar to be as informative as possible and so we encourage you to submit any questions about bleeding and strokes that you might have in advance. You can submit your questions by emailing events@cavernoma.org.uk
Please register here to join us on Zoom and submit your questions today!
