In-Person, 6th June 2026
Join us for one of the most uplifting days in the CAUK calendar. Since 2023, we’ve been climbing Snowdon Yr Wyddfa on the first Saturday in June to launch Cavernoma Awareness Month. Our next climb is Saturday 6 June 2026. Register here for free to receive your welcome pack, CAUK t shirt and an invitation to join our WhatsApp group.
Route:
We take the Llanberis Path, the most popular and family friendly route up Snowdon Yr Wyddfa. You will be supported throughout by qualified, first aid trained mountain guides at a 1:10 ratio. It is a brilliant way to meet others in the cavernoma community, raise awareness and enjoy unforgettable views.
Timing:
The walk starts at 9am and takes around 8-9 hours in total, with some steep and uneven sections. With training it is suitable for most walkers. Children and well behaved dogs are welcome, although the path is not suitable for pushchairs.
Accommodation:
There are many local options on Booking.com, TripAdvisor and Airbnb, as well as nearby campsites and youth hostels. Early booking is recommended.
Supporters:
Friends and family can join you at the top by booking the Snowdon Yr Wyddfa train, which has a cafe and toilets at the summit.
Fundraising:
