Join our next Snowdon climb

Each year we climb Snowdon on the first Saturday in June to mark the start of Cavernoma Awareness Month.  Our next climb will be on Saturday the 7th of June 2025.  To register click here and within 10 working days you will receive a welcome pack.

We’d love to have you join us as we climb the highest mountain in England and Wales at 1085 meters  It’s a great opportunity to meet others from the cavernoma community, raise awareness of cavernoma and enjoy some spectacular views weather permitting!

Everyone is welcome and supporters can join you at the summit by taking the Snowdon train.   A good level of fitness is required as it’s a 9 hour climb with some steep sections and uneven paths, but with training this climb is suitable for most walkers.

Any questions email admin@cavernoma.org.uk. and it’ll be our pleasure to assist.  We’d also be happy to arrange for you to speak with someone who’s previously climbed Snowdon.  We look forward to hearing from you and if you’d like to make a donation you can do by clicking here to visit our JustGiving page.  Thank you!

How long will it take?

We set off at 9am and aim to be back by 6pm with 45 minutes at the summit and two 15 minute breaks along the way.

Are children and dogs welcome?

We take the Llanberis path, which  is considered a more family friendly path, with children and well-behaved dogs welcomed.  The path is not suitable for pushchairs.

Where can I stay overnight?

There are lots of options locally.  A good starting place to look is Booking.com, TripAdvisor and Airbnb.  Click here for a list of campsites and youth hostels.  Early booking is strongly advised.

How can my supporters join me?

There is a train to the summit, with a cafe and toilets.  Train tickets go quickly so we would advise early booking here.

How do I set up a fundraising page?

Click here and select ‘Create a team’ this will then create a personal fundraising page that is linked to the main fundraiser.
