Thanks to member feedback, and discussions with clinicians, it was brought to our attention that the DVLA’s advice to patients with cavernoma differed from it’s advice to clinicians. Understandably, this caused a little confusion for some of our community.
Earlier this year, we got in touch with the DVLA to query their guidance on the rules around driving with cavernoma.
