This year we’re lucky enough to have 4 marathon runners on behalf of CAUK. A big thankyou to her and all our runners!!
Find out more about them, and why they’re running below;
Holly Hutchins
Is running the London Marathon on 3rd October.
Her husband was diagnosed with a cavernoma in 2014. She is hoping to raise as much as she can for CAUK to help support families and individuals who are affected by this condition.
Mike Noakes
Mike Noakes (also our CEO’s husband) is also running the London Marathon.
He says ” I have seen first hand the amazing work this charity does each day to support people affected by this rare condition. What they achieve and provide for a small charity alongside their many volunteers is amazing“
Georgina Clement
Georgina ran for us a few years ago and has stepped in at the last minute as our original runner was unable to compete.
Georgina last ran a marathon….last weekend!!
Melanie Nimmo
Melanie is running in the Bedford Autodrome Marathon on 17th October 2021. She has wanted to run a marathon for a long time but the discovery of her cavernoma set her back a few years.
Her aim is to raise awareness of cavernoma and raise some funds for CAUK who she says is a charity Close to her heart.
