As many of you will know, friend and member of CAUK, Marvin Morgan sadly passed away at the end of 2021 due to complications from his cavernoma.
As well as a loving husband, father and friend, Marvin was a professional football player, creator of fashion brand Fresh Ego Kid and the founder of mental health and anti-racism charity Fresh Ego FC. Before his passing, the staff at CAUK had been supporting Marvin and were looking forward to working with him to raise awareness of cavernoma, something he was incredibly passionate about.
We are grateful that the Marvin Morgan Foundation, set up by friends in his memory, and Marvin’s charity Fresh Ego FC will be hosting a family funday and football match in honour of Marvin. They have kindly asked CAUK to participate in the event, and we hope to raise lots of awareness of cavernoma on the day!
What? Marvin Morgan Foundation Family Funday and Charity Football Match. Expect kids activities, bouncy castles, raffle prizes, charity football match & much more. Look out for some exciting player announcements.
When? Sunday 31st July, Activities from 12pm, kick-Off 2pm.
Where? Wealdstone Football Club (the birthplace of Marvin’s professional football career) Ruislip, London HA4 6JQ.
How much? Adults £10/Under 16s £5 (all proceeds will go towards charity).
This event is open to everyone and anyone who wishes to support the Marvin Morgan Foundation, Fresh Ego FC or CAUK. The grounds will be open and accessible, and there will be good viewing areas for those with disabilities.
